Environment

Our environmental policy is as follows:

• To work on carbon footprint to better control and reduce our emissions. This tool allows us to set forth methodology rules and establish the measurement of greenhouse gas emissions. The tool is managed by ADEME (Institution for the protection of the environment and energy control). It is a spreadsheet that gives a fairly accurate appraisal of the direct emissions of an activity or those induced by it.
• To invest in refrigeration systems operating on glycolated water rather than refrigerant gas, which takes a heavy toll on the environment.
• To introduce a waste reduction and recycling policy for waste that can be reduced and recycled in this way (paste containing no meat, cartons, etc.).
• To introduce an energy management system enabling us to electrically offload certain appartuses to avoid peaks of consumption.
